The Service Headquarters |
The Headquarters consist of the office of the Chief of the Air Staff and 6 staff
branches namely;
Policy and Plans Branch,
Operations Branch,
Logistics Branch,
Administration Branch,
Inspections Branch
and
Air Secretary Branch.
Each of the branches is headed by an Air Officer.
The NAF Headquarters and indeed the NAF is headed by the Chief of the Air Staff
(CAS) who is the principal adviser to the President and Commander in Chief of the
Armed Forces, the Minister of Defence and the Chief of Defence Staff, on air related
defence matters.
Others are the Co-ordinator Project Implementation
Monitoring Team (PIMT), the Director of Finance and Accounting (DFA), the Air
Assistant (AA) and the Secretary NAF Tender's Board. |
