AIR VICE MARSHAL IA KURE |
AVM IA Kure was born on 20 Feb 1959 in Kaduna, Kaduna State. He enlisted into the Nigerian Air Force on 28 Dec 1977 as a member of NDA 23rd Regular Curse. He
was commissioned as a Pilot Officer on 28 Jun 1980.
The senior officer has attended the following military courses: Young Officers Course1980.
Junior Course1991, Senior Course1996/97, National
Defence Course 2006.
Other civil
courses attended are BSc programme at ABU Zaria1980 83, PGDPA ASCON, Badagry
1989 90, MBA ABU, Zaria 1996 and MSc Strategic Studies (Islamabad) 2007.

AVM Kure has held the following appointments: AO NAF Base Ikeja 1983, Instructor SNCO Academy 1986 88, SOII Personnel HQ NAF 1990 91, SOII Admin Instructor NDA 1991 96, Assistant Director of Personnel DHQ 1997 and DS Senior Div AFCSC Jaji1997 2000. Others are Deputy Director of Personnel HQ NAF 2000 2002, DOPRI HQ NAF 2002 2006, Command Admin Officer HQ TC 2007, Director of Personnel Management Dec
2007 Oct 2008, the Air Sec HQ NAF from 31 Oct 2008 - 27 Oct 2010. He is
currently the Air Officer Administration, HQ NAF.
The senior officer has the following decorations and awards: DSS psc(+)ndc MBA and he enjoy playing football, badminton, scrabbles and playing with children as his hobbies. He is happily married and blessed with 5 lovely children.
