INTERNATIONAL AWARD

The Chief
of the Air Staff, Air Marshall Paul Dike
has been inducted into the honour roll
of the United States
Air University,
Alabama on 1 October 2007. The Air
University’s International Honour Roll
was established to
recognize
international graduates who rose to
become top-ranking officers in their
countries. During the
induction
ceremony, the commander of the
university, Lieutenant General Stephen
Lorenz commended the
officers for their
achievements and for being good
ambassadors of the school. He said that
this great feat
builds lasting
friendships that influence diplomacy all
over the world.
More than
9,800 international officers have
attended the University over the past 6
decades out of which 334
of them had
been so honoured.
